was created in 1995 by our Chief Syrup Maker, Jane
Pirone, as a forum for female drummers. This award-winning
site was re-launched as a monthly online magazine
in 1998. It presents original interviews with iconic
female drummers like Yo La Tengo's Georgia Hubley
and The Velvet Underground's Moe Tucker; information
on gear, gigs, and band opportunities; a continually
growing database of female drummers from all over
the world; and a photo gallery. Client work has
